Chloe Alexis Eagle

Today was such a sad and horrible day. My niece to be, Chloe was due in June. My SIL had found out on Friday, February 19th that Chloe had passed away in utero. She was 23 weeks pregnant. She had to deliver Chloe today through an induction. Chloe was born/deceased 2/22/10 12:50pm. She was 9 inches long and 7.3 oz. She was so tiny and delicate. This was something that I am completely saddened by but grateful I was there for. Please continue to keep my family and theirs in your prayers!

Pluses for Kyra:
* She is on her way to being potty trained
* Sleeps in a toddler bed
* Talking well
* learning to drink from a regular cup at daycare



Minuses for Kyra:
* still uses a paci
* still drinks from a sippy
* throws TONS of tantrums daily

Trying to figure out...

I'm trying to figure out what is going with my daughter. She has been so feisty lately. She fights everything with so much intensity. I'm worry that I am setting her up for disaster, but I try to be the best parent I can be. I just wish that I understood why she is acting like this. I know that some of it has to do with being a 2 year old and all that development stuff. But, she is WAY more stubborn than other children I know.

Halfway through

It's halfway through January already! Wow!

I've definitely tried to keep up with my New Years Resolutions. I'm working out more and "trying" to watch what I eat. That part is coming a little harder to me than the working out part. I've really enjoyed using my Wii Fit. I just recently purchased the Just Dance game which is a great workout too!

Kyra is doing really well at her new daycare, except for the biting that I posted about recently. She has stopped biting at school so far. Fingers crossed. We are continuing to talk to her about that everyday. She has caught the yucky crud from the kids at school. She has an URI right now. :(

When did.....

my daughter become the bitER, instead of the bitEE? When i picked her up from daycare today, her teacher told me that Kyra had bit someone today. I was so furious! At her, at me, at Audra..... I mean, we all know where she picked it up from. If that little boy hadn't been using her as a chew toy, she "probably" wouldn't be the biter. :(
