New House!

As of Today (4/23/09) Billy and I are buying a house! We have started the paperwork and should be closing on it by the beginning of June. (hopefully) It's is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom one story house. We are so excited to have our very first house. Kyra will have a back yard and front yard to play in!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! Pictures will follow soon, I just have to upload them to the computer. :) We went to church this morning...Kyra, Grandma and I spent the morning in the nursery. I wish I would have been able to hear the service. I missed out on a fantastic service, I'm sure. God has blessed me with a great family and a great life.

Kyra woke up first thing and saw the basket the Easter Bunny brought her. She was so excited about the duck, the marshmellow chicks and the books. She looked at the chicks and said "Ming Ming" My daughter LOVES Ming Ming from the Wonder Pets!!

Lazy 5 Ranch Playdate

We had a playdate on Saturday April 4th with Veronica and Peyton. We went to this really neat place called the Lazy 5 Ranch in Mooresville, NC. It has a safari ride, which you can do in your car or in a wagon. We chose the wagon ride. We had a great time and can't wait to get together again!

Happy Birthday Billy!

March 30 was Billy's Birthday! He turned a BIG 31 years old! :) We went to Olive Garden with family on Sunday night.

Easter Egg Hunt at Church

On Sunday, almost the whole family went to an Easter Egg Hunt at our church, Trinity Wesleyan Church. Kim and Stephen (SIL and BIL, Billy's brother), Abigail (niece), my mom, my sister, Billy, me and Kyra all had a blast looking for eggs. :)

Randomness

I know I haven't posted in a while. We have had such a busy weekend. Friday was just all about hanging out and getting ready for the impromptu yard sale that we had. That brings me to Saturday. Kim (my SIL) had yard sale and let us sell stuff at her house too. :) That was fun and we did pretty well too! Yay! Then, we hung out with friends. Today, we went to church, ate lunch. and cleaned up a little around the apartment. Spring cleaning, I guess. LOL! Back to work tomorrow.

A quick Kyra update!

Kyra's new words to say are:

-yes (we don't hear it very often though)

Tonight, we were at dinner and Kyra did the funniest thing. Billy gave her a dollar to put on the table to "help" with the tip :) She tries to stick the money in her back pocket, like there was a wallet there. Guess she has watched Daddy pay for stuff too much, huh?
