Mixed Emotions

Today is bittersweet for me. I'm happy because I have gotten to spend all summer with Kyra. I've really enjoyed my time with her. But, now it's time for me to go back to work. School starts back next week, so things have to be ready. I'm starting at a new school with new people. So, things will be different. I'm excited to be somewhere new but also really nervous. All I can do is pray about it! I know that God has chosen this path for me for a reason. Now it is time to find out why.

Our new house!!!

We have finally moved into our new house (Officially July 23) :) Please just remember that we have just moved in, so everything is still messy and not finished. We are waiting to hang up pics until we have painted. There is a 3rd Bedroom that we are working on making a playroom for Kyra. But, it is just way too messy right now to post pics!

Yo Gabba Gabba Time!

What a smart girl!

Kyra has started many new "talents" these past couple of weeks. She has been throwing horrible terrible two tantrums! She has changed dramatically into this independent "do it MY way" toddler. I think I am going to need some help with this stage!!! And BOY, do her tantrums continue on FOREVER!

On a positive note, she has become more polite. :) In the past few days, she has started saying "Excuse Me" when she wants to get through. Add this with "please and Thank you" and we have a very mannered Kyra Grace! :)

She has also been talking in 2 to 3 word sentences. Like, "Open it, Mommy" is her favorite. "Want this", "Want Mo (more)", "Abby, Go" "Boom, Boom, Pow" (yes the song from the Black Eyed Peas" Fave song!! lol :) One day, I will get this all on video and post it! Promise!

Frustrated with our house closing

Ok, So this may seem like a random post....but most of you know that we have been purchasing our VERY 1st home since April. :) Well, our closing is postponed until we can find out more about the issues going on with our mortgage. The mortgage lady, who will remain nameless, didn't do certain things the right way/she waited until now to calculate stuff that should have been done 2 months ago!! Now, it has to be done before we can go any further! We were "supposed" to close on the house YESTERDAY!!!

Myrtle Beach, SC Vacation!

We went on our first vacation together since Kyra was born! We went to Myrtle Beach,SC! We were very excited about going, but very nervous since Kyra really hasn't slept anywhere but at home and at daycare.

Once she was used to the sand and the water, she loved it! She is now saying "Wally/Watty" for water. LOL

We went to Ripley's Aquarium, which was pretty cool to see! Kyra liked all the fishies, blew kisses and waved to the diver at the feeding show! Sharks swam over our heads!

All in all, we had a great trip! Kyra loved the ocean and the sand! Can't wait to do this again! But, not for a while! :)
